The ARYC’s mission is to bring together a community of like minded yachties from around the globe creating fellowship to promote Animal Welfare while raising funds for Sailing Sunday Animal Rescues.

ARYC members will all be directly contributing towards our rescue efforts documented across our YouTube ( Sailing Sunday ) and Instagram ( @finns_friends_ )

Each member will receive an ARYC Burgee that will come with a unique membership number and all proceeds will go to the Jacksons Treats Fund.

Members will be able to fly their burgee high and proud all around the world, in the hopes of spreading the message and inspiring others to make a difference.

Our Story:

In May 2019 we began feeding strays along our travels after seeing the sad state of many in the countries we were visiting.

In October 2019 we had our first rescue while in Montenegro where we found a sick kitten in desperate need, we nursed him back to health and he eventually became a permanent crew member on SV Sunday, our beloved boat kitten Finn and the one that started it all…..from this point onwards it became our mission to help as many strays as we could. With the help of friends and family we were able to fund our first season of rescues.

In 2020 the interest in our rescues was growing within our YouTube community, many viewers wanting to help, asking how and where they could donate to our cause. Because of this we created a PayPal link dedicated to our rescues and together with our amazing PATREON supporters and Jacksons Treats donations we were able to continue to help many more strays in need.

In 2021, Our community literally saved the lives of countless street animals.

Because of this amazing support, we have been able to personally foster numerous strays and orphan street animals onboard, provide vet treatment including complex and life saving surgeries, sterilize many street cats, sponsor animals patiently waiting for their forever homes and support different rescues shelters that are in desperate need for funding…just to name some!

These rescues have grown more than we imagined and with help from these 3 amazing people Rick and Lou Moores from YouTubes Sailing Salacia Star and supporter Vern Holmes we have created the ARYC to bring us into 2022 with hope to keep growing with our efforts worldwide.
